It all started about 6 summers ago when I went to my first ComicCon. I was 12 years old and i saw my very first Furry dressed in an amazing custom suit full of the brightest colors you can imagine. This was the moment I knew I would be a Furry Fandom inside & out for the rest of my life.
It started with curiosity about the lifestyle and a years worth of research and joining community to see if it was the right fit for me. Then I decided to make my first fursuit after watching months of Youtube "how to", videos I was finally convinced I could do this by myself.
Now, I'm not going to say everyone can do this but it was fairly easy and practice does make perfect with FurSuit making so don't worry to much about how your first one turns out. You will perfect them as you go, I promise. So after about a month of daily hard work my fursuit was finished, but I had to rush because I was going to my first ComicCon dressed in a Fursuit.
It was the Long Beach, CA ComicCon in the dead of summer. Now if I could go back and tell myself that might not be the best time to try dressing in a fursuit for the first time I totally would lol. It was so HOT! Thank god I did enough research to install a fan in my mouth, but I wasn't equipped with cool gear or a balaclava so I got my poor suit soaked with sweat.
I had a amazing time and couldn't wait for my next event that would be a real FurCon! I decided to make a new suit for this one which would be my second suit. During this time I realized there is just not a store on the net where I can get all the things I need to make a great fursuit. This is when I decided to make my own site FurryFandoms.com to make Fur suiting and Buying furry supplies much more convenient with great quality.
I started working on this site about a year ago, little by little I learned the things we needed for our fursuiting and things we needed in general when making accessories and supplies. Finally on May 1st, 2019 we opened the FurryFandoms.com website and can't wait for our future ahead of us.
